Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lets Catch, Inc. (“Lets Catch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Catch, our mobile application for spontaneous voice calls with people you know, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account and profile information

When you sign in with Apple, Google, or LinkedIn, we receive the information you choose to make available through that provider, which may include your name, email address, and profile photo. We use this information to create and secure your account, display your profile, and help people you know recognize you.

Phone number and verification information

If you add a phone number, we collect the number and information needed to verify it using a one-time SMS code or carrier verification. We use this information to confirm that the number belongs to you, prevent abuse, and help connect you with people you know.

Contact matching information

With your permission, Catch can help you find people you know from your address book. Email addresses and phone numbers used for matching are hashed before they are sent to our systems. Raw address-book contacts are not uploaded. We use the hashed values only to identify matches between Catch users.

Availability and call information

We collect the availability status you choose to share (which Catch calls your “openness”), including any duration or context you provide. We also collect call metadata, such as who called whom and the date, time, and duration of a call, to connect calls, show relevant call activity, maintain reliability, and protect the Service. Catch transmits call audio in real time and does not record or store call audio.

Device, notification, and diagnostic information

We collect push-notification tokens so we can notify you about calls and other Service-related activity. We may also collect basic device, app, crash, and diagnostic information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Catch.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • create, authenticate, and maintain your account;
  • verify phone numbers and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • match you with people you know when you choose to use contact matching;
  • display availability and enable real-time voice calls;
  • send call alerts, verification codes, and other service communications;
  • monitor reliability, diagnose crashes, secure the Service, and provide support; and
  • comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and Catch does not serve advertising. We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate Catch:

  • Google Firebase for app infrastructure, authentication, and data services;
  • Vercel for web hosting and related infrastructure;
  • LiveKit for real-time call media transmission;
  • Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics; and
  • Telnyx for SMS delivery and phone-number verification.

These providers may process information only to perform services for us and are subject to contractual and legal obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or the Service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain account, profile, phone-number, contact-matching, availability, call-metadata, notification, and diagnostic information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why we use it. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to limited backup, fraud-prevention, security, and legal-retention requirements.

5. Your choices and account deletion

You can control whether Catch has access to contacts and notifications through your device settings, and you can update certain profile and availability information in the app. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information using the account-deletion option in the app or by emailing help@letscatch.com. We may retain limited information where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Catch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy at this stable URL and revise the “Last updated” date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
